Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website located at royalclean.ph (the "Site") or by utilizing any of the dry cleaning, laundry, or related services (collectively, the "Services") offered by Royal Clean Dry Cleaning & Laundry ("Royal Clean," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you should not access the Site or use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Royal Clean.

2. Description of Services

Royal Clean provides professional dry cleaning, laundry, eco wash, carpet cleaning, curtain cleaning, and related garment and textile care services at its branch locations across Metro Manila and Cavite, Philippines. The specific services available may vary by location and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Royal Clean operates as a drop-off service only; customers are responsible for delivering items to and collecting items from our branch locations. We do not provide home pickup, delivery, or curtain rehang services.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By submitting items for cleaning or any other service, the customer represents and warrants that they are the rightful owner of the items or are otherwise authorized to submit them for service. Customers are responsible for inspecting their items and disclosing any known defects, stains, damage, or other conditions prior to submission. Customers should remove all personal belongings, accessories, hardware, pins, detachable ornaments, and other non-fabric items from garments, curtains, carpets, and other items before drop-off. Royal Clean shall not be responsible for any items left in pockets, attached to garments, or otherwise included with submitted items that are not part of the cleaning order.

4. Inspection and Pre-Existing Conditions

Royal Clean may, but is not obligated to, inspect items upon receipt and note any visible pre-existing damage, wear, discoloration, defects, or other conditions on your service receipt. However, such inspection is conducted on a reasonable-efforts basis and does not constitute a comprehensive assessment of the item's condition. The absence of noted pre-existing conditions on a receipt does not constitute a warranty or representation regarding the condition of the item at the time of submission. Certain defects, weaknesses, or conditions — including but not limited to color instability, fabric degradation, manufacturing flaws, hidden stains, insect damage, and age-related deterioration — may not be apparent until the cleaning process has commenced, and Royal Clean assumes no responsibility for damage or changes resulting from such latent conditions.

5. Limitation of Liability

Royal Clean exercises professional care in the handling and cleaning of all items entrusted to us. However, certain risks are inherent in the cleaning process, and not all outcomes can be guaranteed. In the event that an item is lost, damaged, or otherwise adversely affected while in our care, Royal Clean's maximum aggregate liability shall be limited to five (5) times the cleaning charge for the affected item, as reflected on the service receipt. This limitation applies regardless of the cause of loss or damage, including but not limited to negligence, equipment malfunction, human error, fire, flood, theft, natural disaster, acts of God, civil disturbance, or any other cause whatsoever, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.

Royal Clean shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, diminution in value, emotional distress, or any other damages arising out of or in connection with the provision of Services, regardless of the theory of liability.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Royal Clean expressly disclaims liability for: damage caused by or attributable to pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, or inherent weaknesses in the fabric, material, construction, or finish of any item; shrinkage, color loss, color bleeding, or texture changes that result from normal or recommended cleaning processes; damage to items that are not suitable for the cleaning method requested or applied; loss or damage to buttons, beads, sequins, embellishments, trims, or decorative elements; damage caused by or related to improper care, storage, or handling of items before or after our service; and any loss, damage, or theft of items or personal property, howsoever caused.

6. Unclaimed Items

Customers are expected to collect their items within a reasonable period following completion of service. Royal Clean will make reasonable efforts to notify customers when items are ready for pickup. Items that remain unclaimed for a period of ninety (90) days or more following completion of service may, at Royal Clean's sole discretion, be deemed abandoned and may be donated, recycled, disposed of, or otherwise dealt with as Royal Clean sees fit, without further notice or obligation to the customer. Royal Clean shall bear no liability whatsoever for items deemed abandoned under this provision.

7. Pricing and Payment

Prices for Services are determined based on the type, weight, and nature of the items submitted and are subject to change without prior notice. Royal Clean reserves the right to assess additional charges for items requiring special handling, stain treatment, or other extraordinary care. All charges are due and payable upon collection of items unless otherwise agreed in writing. Royal Clean reserves the right to retain possession of items until all applicable charges have been paid in full.

8. Service Turnaround

Estimated turnaround times are provided as a general guide and may vary depending on workload, item type, cleaning requirements, and other factors. Royal Clean makes reasonable efforts to complete services within the estimated timeframe but does not guarantee specific completion dates or times. Delays in service completion shall not give rise to any claim for damages or compensation.

9. Claims and Disputes

Any claim for loss, damage, or dissatisfaction with Services must be made at the time of collection and noted on the service receipt. Claims made after the customer has left the premises with their items may not be honored. All claims are subject to investigation by Royal Clean and will be resolved at Royal Clean's reasonable discretion. In no event shall any claim exceed the limitation of liability set forth in Section 5 of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, trademarks, trade names, and other materials, is the property of Royal Clean or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

11. Website Use and Disclaimer

The content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information presented, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Site or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained therein. Your use of the Site and reliance on any information provided is entirely at your own risk.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Royal Clean disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Royal Clean, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and successors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Force Majeure

Royal Clean shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, earthquake, typhoon, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, power failure, equipment failure, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or any other event of force majeure.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site or Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cavite, Philippines.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Royal Clean with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

17. Modifications to These Terms

Royal Clean reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or Services following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
